To use text in place of a dimension: Right click the dimension (created dims only) under "properties" on the second tab you will see @D, change the D to an O (the letter O not a zero) and type your text directly after that.

I should have noted that this only works on created dimensions, not Driving dimensions... you can add test after any dim but you can only replace created dimensions with text.
